What a great year I left behind with my Tuscany wine & food tours, private tastings in villas, wedding coordination, aperitifs and private Sommelier services in luxury villas.

I loved sharing lots of adventures, accompanying clients in several wine regions of central Italy like Tuscany & Umbria. It was so nice to see people from the United States tasting for their first time wines like Sagrantino di Montefalco in Umbria, very rich in tannins, flavor and alcohol.

I loved guiding my clients around Montalcino, the homeland of the famous Brunellos that everyone knows and loves, going through old and new wineries, traditions, vinification – especially selected for my private wine tours because for their uniqueness, wide choice of wines, scenic vineyards, beautiful cellars, friendly staff that always accommodated my special requests with joy thanks to the great collaboration we established.

My clients were SO happy to visit with me Chianti and Montepulciano, tasting their excellent Chianti Classico and elegant Vino Nobile, always being poured more than what is normally included, fully enjoying the wine experience. And others loved to discover in Cortona not only delicious extra-virgin olive oil and fabulous pecorino cheese in oil mills and family-run cheese farms, but also to savour Cortona’s big Syrah wines in a beautiful cellar – again living a wonderful wine & food adventure with me.

Most of them are already planning new trips this year, I can’t wait to welcome them and new clients too here in Tuscany and guide them through new wines and tastes of this beautiful country!

I live in and love Tuscany for its unique nature, beauty, marvellous landscape, mouth-watering food, gold olive oil and at least but not last its great wines (you never want to stop drinking).
My job consists in arranging wine & food tours all around the best wine regions of Tuscany and Umbria, conduct private wine tastings in villas, coordinate wedding services at international destination weddings in beuatiful venues around Cortona, Siena, Chianti, Florence, Montepulciano, just to name a few.
As Sommelier often I am invited to help choose the right wedding reception menu with the wedding planner (my girlfriend) when bride and groom come to Tuscany. And there can never be a fantastic dinner of traditional Italian food without amazing Italian wines, which I sometimes provide, perfectly paired with the menu. A long experience built up working for top catering companies and restaurants of Tuscany allows me to decide the right location to set up ceremony, aperitif, wedding dinner, cutting of the cake and open bar. This is a job that gives you emotions when you do the last touches to the tables, chairs, tablecloths, flowers, candles, plates, cutlery, glasses and napkins – all details that make a big difference thanks to my accuracy also looking after caterers and florists. There are moments when you look at the cloudy sky hoping to see soon the Tuscan sun shine again and play with the beautiful colours of Tuscany’s countryside with rolling hills, vineyards, olive groves, wheat and sunflower fields.
I am sorry I am a little emotional talking about this, but when I am on site to coordinate private events I always make sure that everything goes the best way.
If you plan to arrange a special event and celebration in Tuscany and Umbria, do not hesitate to contact me at tuscanywinefoodadventures@gmail.com to learn how I may help coordinate a memorable day in Itali.

The wines & foods of Tuscany are important not just for private tours in wineries and farms but also for weddings, banquets, anniversaries and all sorts of family and corporate events celebrated in and around Florence, Siena, Montalcino, Chianti, Montepulciano, Cortona, San Gimignano and elsewhe in Tuscany. At times I am involved in menu tasting for wedding dinners of international couples, to find the best wine and food pairing together with them. It is a great chance for me to share my knowledge about wine & food combinations and suggest for every dish the perfect wine pairing. It often seems not important, but for those who really want to enjoy their special day in Tuscany with great food and delicious wines IT IS A MUST. Starting from the aperitif with nice and infinite bubbles of a fresh and nice Prosecco and white wines of Tuscany enjoyed with Parmesan, fried battered vegetables, caprese salad with succulent mozzarella and fresh tomato, bruschetta with different Tuscan sauces, pecorino cheese, prosciutto, salami and a lot of cold and hot appetizers. A pleasure too is to identify the perfect pairing of fresh pasta with vegetables: what about a great mineral white wine? Or fresh pasta with meat sauce paired with … a great Chianti! All these are useful tips I am glad to share with couples and other private clients. Do not forget to find the right wine pairing to main course and dessert, mostly with divine red wines of Tuscany and enjoyable bubbly wines – do you agree? I am happy to offer my experience in this wine & food pairing adventure with clients that have never been in Italy before, and with those who have been and want to know and learn more about Italian and especially Tuscan cuisine and its wide and amazing variety of wines. A few days ago I had the immense pleasure to taste the complete wedding menu of a UK couple, and to decide together the dishes and wines for their BIG day in Tuscany. At the end of the day the choice of wines came from the bride ! I am happy I was part of this special tasting day and helped come to great decisions. It is my job, my passion, my pleasure, my goal to participate in these important and memorable moments of your lives.
