Bruschetta, risotto, pappardelle pasta, fillet & pizza – prepared with fresh porcini mushrooms – are some of the most interesting dishes that one can experience with my food tours & activities. Tuscany offers not only great wines, fabulous cured meats, fresh pasta, Chianina steak and lots of gorgeous destinations to visit, but is also famous for its fresh & huge-sized porcini mushrooms. Tradition in Tuscany is to get up early in the morning after days of rain and do a mushroom hunt on wooded hills. Experts never reveal to others the correct places where they find fresh mushrooms (only from Father to children or to really good friends); they often just come back with a basket full & sometimes only with a few Porcini mushrooms. The authentic cuisine of Tuscany & Italy is well known for its bruschetta, pasta, risotto, fillet with mushrooms, and most of all for fried Porcini, which one absolutely has to taste while visiting Tuscany.
