For those of you who love Tuscany’s pecorino cheese and olive oil and are enjoying holiday time in Italy, I may design private food tours that feature the best cheese and olive oil produced in Cortona, Montepulciano, Pienza. Together we may visit family-run cheese farms full of sheep and spectacular views of the beautiful Tuscan countryside, discover how pecorino cheese is made step by step, and taste a variety of cheese like raviggiolo, ricotta, fresh, semiaged, aged and riserva pecorinos. Instead of just a tasting you may choose to have a complete cheese-themed lunch. During the day tour we willalso visit a local oil mill that produces the purest organic extra-virgin olive oil of Tuscany, learning how olive oil is born from tree to bottle – and of course we will taste it on bruschetta! Tuscany is identified as the land of sunflowers, rolling hills, vineyards, cypress trees, a landscape that changes colour under the warm summer sun, the region where great wines like Brunello di Montalcino, Nobile di Montepulciano, Chianti & Chianti Classico, Vernaccia di San Gimignano, Morellino Di Scansano, Cortona Syrah, and in which delicious food like pecorino cheese, Chianina beef, Prosciutto, saffron – just to name a few – are born.
Siena, famous hill town of amazing beauty, offers you not only history… I may guide you around this ancient city through unforgettable wine & food tastings of the genuine products that this region boasts. Visiting, tasting, enjoying, touching, experiencing, living unique moments with me will be a new adventure in Tuscany, Italy. Drinking wine, having aperitifs, delicious lunch & dinner together in front of breathtaking views you will live a truly unforgettable time. Lately I was happy to share my personal feelings about Tuscany’s excellences, tasting superb wines and mouth-watering dishes with great clients, while visiting fascinating wine cellars in Montalcino & Montepulciano, and talking about their ageing, the measure of barrels, the position of barriques etc. We loved exchanging thoughts during the wine tasting about the colour, the nose, the taste and the pairing of the wines with dishes which belong to traditional Tuscan cuisine. We loved also having pictures together to capture these fantastic moments of fun, with people who return to relive these moments with me in this gorgeous region of Italy. What else would you love more ???
