An interesting emerging wine is Torgiano Riserva, made primarily with Sangiovese and Canaiolo red grapes, which became a DOCG in 1990 respecting the tradition of Umbria. It is a medium-bodied high-quality red wine, elegant, full of aroma and flavor, which evolves with the aging process and becomes more complex with leather, spicy notes, and with a nice silky palate. This wine pairs perfectly with pasta and main courses of Umbria’s culinary tradition. I can plan an ideal private wine tour & tasting with Sommelier in Torgiano wineries, let me be your guide and facilitator for a full day in this wonderful wine region of Italy.
My mission is to deliver one-of-a-kind experiences that go beyond client’s expectations, cultivating awareness, understanding and appreciation of wines - and Tuscany is a destination that should be on every wine & food lover’s list.
